Jenny Holmes | Studio Assistant

 

Jenny brings 20 years of competitive dance training in jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, and musical theatre to the Liberty Dance community. She trained in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, passing her Advanced 2 examination with Distinction. She attended Etobicoke School of the Arts and continued exploring her passion for the arts through dance elective courses in modern contemporary and Jazz at Western University.

 

An accomplished event planner, Jenny loves creating welcoming spaces where people can connect. Her experience teaching primary school English in Hong Kong also sparked a love of working with young learners, which she brings to supporting Liberty Dance’s youngest dancers in the classroom.

 

As Studio Assistant, Jenny helps keep the studio running smoothly, from opening and closing to greeting families and assisting with lessons. She is a strong advocate for the role music, movement, and the arts can play in supporting mental well-being, building community, and helping children develop confidence, creativity, and social skills. She looks forward to welcoming dancers and their families into the studio and promoting the joy of dance.
